I can’t tell you how refreshing it is to watch this, nor how vibrant the residual memory of my attendance at these shows remains. Thanks (once again) for sharing. Unbelievable quality and length to this video. Like you say, one fine place to start a Bruce/Jerry experience is around the 1 hr: 50 minute mark – the pre-drums jam after LIG. Gets really awesome for the ten minutes or so before they give up the stage for drums.

It is a pretty special thing for me to be able to view the boys so closely, so long after the fact. I remember where we were dancing at this run ( by this time in my career the main consideration was being able to hear the band well enough to dance in the space we settled upon – propping open the doors somehow to let the sound flow out into the halls) and it was some feat of balance (stairwell) and surrender to be there with Bruce on this auspicious night.

Road Trips Vol2. #1, so here’s a nice sounding aud: http://www.archive.org/details/gd1990-09-19.at835b.laurentus.96927.flac16

Would seem a shame not to point out that this copy:

is probably among the 5 or so best ever audience recordings of a Dead show.

Ah yes now – I was enthralled by the quality of the video and hasty to post. Thanks for some further fun comparing the copies that still stream on archive, because you are most certainly correct!
